For over three years this process has started, they are they still there, valiant to defend this bill despite opposition, despite the alterations, despite the vagaries of the political calendar. Pascale Boistard, Maud Olivier, Catherine Coutelle, Guy Geoffroy and others have yet to show pugnacity in the Chamber to recall once again the merits of this legislation strengthening the fight against the prostitution system and support for prostitutes.

As after the second reading, the National Assembly reintroduced the bill in the overall balance of its four pillars: enhanced fight against pimping, late offense of soliciting and proposals to leave prostitution, prevention and criminalization of the sex-buyers . The text was adopted by a large scale majority.

The fight for "a radical look change" Prostitution is about to arrive. After Sweden, Norway and Iceland, France finally takes the path of reversing the charge of criminal prostitutes to clients: the victims of prostitution system will no longer be repressed and those who impose a sexual act economic constraints will no longer go unpunished. The strength of this text is to give the most important part to the measures towards prostitutes:
- Protective measures
- Granting of allowances for people engaging in an output path
- Easier access to compensation during the trial for pimping
- Access to real alternatives to exit prostitution
- Provisional authorization of issuance of residence for foreigners engaged in prostitution output approach.

Taking advantage of its overall control philosophy, the text does not forget the strengthening of the fight against sex trafficking in particular by extending its scope to the web world, today main vector of dissemination of trafficking and pimping. Furthermore, the implementation of a policy of prevention of prostitution in particular for young people will be auctioned by funds budgeted by the State.

The proposal will now go to the Senate and return to the Assembly if it does not validate the text in the state. The Scelles Foundation looks forward to the enactment of this Act and the rapid publication of its implementing decrees. Why not April 13, 2016, 70 years after the Marthe Richard law abolishing the regulation of prostitution in France and imposed the closure of brothels. What symbolic significance to this that France will play its full abolitionism in a Europe still divided on these issues.
